After a very long break of shooting / blogging I finally got my ass out to nature this week. I usually don't spend very much time outside during winter. You know, it's not my favorite time of year. To be honest: I hate this time of year :-)
One reason for leaving the warm house was that it hasn't been so bloody cold like the weeks/month before. The second reason may was that I got a new lens which had to be tested :-)
I am now a proud owner of a Nikkor AF-S DX VR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED lens. This lens has a build in VR2-mechanism which means that it reduces vibrations to up to 4 f-stops.
Until now I am very happy with this lens. The real test will be in February. People who know me or followed me on this blog for some time may already know what I usually do during February and where I am at that time of year.
