Altea's promenade is very pretty as it used to primarily be a fishing village with it's whitewashed houses along the seafront. Now the promenade is full of lively bars and restaurants. Altea is one of the best places to visit on the Costa Blanca. The town is set on a hill full of winding streets and topped with the beautiful church with it's blue tiled roof visible from all around. I will post a picture of the church later on.
